Instead, the Blaze creates and fills a weird middle-ground space. But if the idea of fun applications and sending texts from your wrist intrigues you, the $199 Blaze is not what you want. #Blaze fitbit connect to two devices at the same time androidHowever, the Fitbit Blaze is not a smartwatch in the same way as the Apple Watch or the Android Wear. Fitbit took what it does best-connected fitness-and put it in a device designed to appeal to the ever growing number of people interested in smartwatches. Many thought the Blaze was a peculiar answer to its competition, namely the Apple Watch, and the company's stock immediately fell more than 13 percent. It occasionally syncs, just often enough to not be completely useless. When Fitbit announced the Blaze "smart fitness watch," it did not make the best first impression. Honestly, I pretty much gave up on this thing ever actually working properly months ago. (And yes, I already tried all the officially recommended troubleshooting steps.) So if anything, it doesn't seem like the cloud data is being updated properly either. #Blaze fitbit connect to two devices at the same time PcRight now (June 6), the most recent day for which it's displaying any data is May 25 (and it's definitely been synced and displaying properly on the same PC much more recently than that). Indeed, when it's not synced, the data I can view in the Fitbit app isn't even up-to-date from the last time it did sync. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I didn't even know that was supposed to happen, because it never did.īut as noted above, the thing isn't even staying synced to a single device consistently anymore. If the data had been syncing in the cloud to reflect on the second device, I wouldn't have posted this thread. (Also, if it's synced to a phone then it displays new text messages on the Fitbit, which is occasionally convenient.) It would just be convenient if I could look at my Fitbit stats on my phone when I'm out and about and on my PC when I'm at home. I don't need to be able to sync to different devices. If I've got 9 trackers syncing consistently across 4 devices, it's definitely possible. #Blaze fitbit connect to two devices at the same time windowsThe Windows (and Fire tablet, and HP Touchpad) apps are antiquated, but I prefer the older Fitbit versions personally. I'm currently syncing through many different devices Windows10, Android phone, Fire Tablet, even an old HP Touchpad. Regarding syncing from, multiple devices, remove "automatic" synchronization, and simply refresh syncing on either device. I've got a Versa, Inspire, and Charge3 as well but as mentioned, they're incompatible with app-based ones, like Ionics. Currently on my account are Alta, AltaHR, Blaze, One, ZIP, Ionic, Charge, ChargeHR, Charge 2. The exceptions are ones with apps, for instance, you can't use Inspire with Versa or Ionic. The key is syncing between switching, this is critically important or you'll risk losing steps as Fitbit takes the smallest number as an override. I'm an Android/Windows user and my trackers sync perfectly. I use several different Fitbit trackers regularly, and happy to help you with multiple devices. I'm wondering if I should just return the Fitbit and forget about all of this. I've tried all the standard troubleshooting stuff, restarting the tracker, reinstalling the app, etc. #Blaze fitbit connect to two devices at the same time BluetoothI've both turned off my phone's Bluetooth and deleted the Fitbit app from the phone, and now, the desktop app mostly just fails to sync or update, and occasionally spits back an error message suggesting that it thinks the Fitbit tracker is connected to another device. I thought the Fitbit was working fine on my PC as long as I didn't try to sync it with my phone as well, but then it just.stopped syncing. Is there an easier way to make this work?ĮDIT: Dammit. This is unfortunate, because the desktop app is more user-friendly, but I'd like to be able to get notifications from my phone on the Fitbit when I'm out. I had to restart the phone, the Fitbit, and the desktop app (though not the actual desktop PC thankfully) before these machines would deign to talk to each other again. The problem is that switching between them is oddly difficult*.* Even if I shut down my phone's Bluetooth connection entirely, clicking the sync button on the desktop Fitbit app didn't work. That's fine, I don't especially mind needing to switch between them. #Blaze fitbit connect to two devices at the same time windows 10I have a PC running Windows 10 and an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S8), and when it's connected to one of them it won't sync with the other. What I've unfortunately discovered, though, is that while I can log into my Fitbit account on several devices, I can't sync the actual Fitbit tracker with multiple devices at once. I'm fascinated to see what it can tell me about my sleep patterns and such.
